HIGHLAND BELLES DRILL TEAM ANNOUNCES ITS 2012-2013 TEAM
–Belles Celebrates its 30th Year of Excellence and Traditions; Names 60 Dancers to Don Next Year’s Fringe–
HIGHLAND PARK, Texas – Dec 5, 2011 – After a rigorous tryout process, the award-winning Highland Belles drill team announces 17 new Belles will be added to its 2012-2013 roster, bringing the total number of new and returning Belles to 60-strong. The new team was carefully selected after hopefuls and returning Belles committed to a weeklong training process, culminating in an official Friday night tryout with 3rd party, independent judges from the drill team industry.
The 2012-2013 Highland Belles will begin their workout and off-season training schedule in January alongside the current Belle team. Their first team performance will be featured in late Spring. 2012-2013 Belle managers will be selected in the coming weeks and next year’s Belle Lieutenant hopefuls will tryout for five positions in February
2012.

The Highland Belles are Highland Park High School’s award-winning drill team. For nearly 30 years, the Highland Belles have been well known throughout Highland Park and the dance/drill community for their work ethic, technique and precision routines.
